Set on a tropical island in Thailand’s South, Rosewood Phuket, in collaboration with Little Bukit Farm, presents an exclusive farm-to-table culinary retreat that epitomizes sustainable luxury.
The farm-to-table experience, meticulously orchestrated by Melinda Briend-Marchal, owner of Little Bukit Farm, and Luca De Negri, the celebrated executive chef at Rosewood Phuket, delivers an unparalleled dining adventure using the finest locally-sourced ingredients.
Upon their arrival, guests are welcomed with champagne by Melinda and her husband Sanya, who then lead an insightful tour of Little Bukit Farm. This immersive experience highlights the sustainable practices at the heart of the farm, including their organic gardens and the production of artisanal cheeses from their own goats, setting the stage for a spectacular al fresco seven-course dinner under the stars. Each dish, from the “Farm Bathing” Grouper Carpaccio with citrus dressing and mint-pickled beetroot to the “Wood Burning Fire” herb-roasted chicken, celebrates the purity and freshness of the farm’s bounty.
Dinner concludes with a selection of homemade cheeses paired with natural wines, epitomising the refined simplicity of the farm’s produce.
Rosewood Phuket’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond the culinary. The resort is LEED Gold certified, boasting water recycling, energy-efficient design, and local sourcing—about one-third of all culinary ingredients are obtained from regional suppliers, aligning with the resort’s “A Sense of Place” philosophy which harmonises guest experiences with the local environment and community.
For younger guests, the Rosewood Explorers programme provides an engaging educational platform, fostering a connection with nature through activities like beach clean-ups and Eco Discovery Walks. This programme is crafted to inspire a lifelong commitment to environmental stewardship, starting from a young age.
