TADA, the Singapore-based ride-hailing platform, launches in Hong Kong with a zero-commission model and special promotion for Thai tourists. To mark the occasion, TADA is offering a special promotion for Thai travellers visiting or living in the city.

With the promo code TADAINHKTH, riders can receive 50% off their trips, up to HK$20 per ride, for two rides per user. The promotion is valid from December 12, 2024, to January 31, 2025, and the app is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

The beta service covers key areas including Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and Hong Kong International Airport. Riders can pay using cash or credit cards, with booking fees of HK$8 for fares under HK$100 and HK$9 for higher fares.

TADA operates on a zero-commission model that allows drivers to keep all their earnings, apart from nominal fees for digital transactions. This approach aims to promote fairer fares for riders while improving job satisfaction for drivers.

“Hong Kong’s dynamic economy and demand for reliable transport make it a strategic choice for TADA’s expansion,” said Sean Kim, the company’s CEO. “This beta phase will help us refine our service as we work toward a citywide rollout.”

TADA, part of the Mass Vehicle Ledger (MVL) ecosystem, emphasizes safety and affordability with transparent pricing that remains competitive even during peak hours. The company has earned a reputation for fostering partnerships with taxi operators and prioritizing driver welfare.

In Singapore, TADA’s zero-commission model has been lauded by drivers and partners alike. Neo Chee Yong, Director of Prime Taxi, noted, “TADA has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to drivers, setting a high standard in the evolving transport landscape.”

With its Hong Kong debut, TADA aims to establish itself as a trusted option in the city’s crowded transportation market, focusing on high-quality service and collaboration with local stakeholders.
