TOP25Restaurants.com has unveiled its Phuket TOP25 Restaurants 2024, highlighting the island’s finest dining spots as selected by artificial intelligence-based curation. This year’s ranking celebrates top culinary destinations that bring a mix of innovative techniques and locally sourced ingredients to the forefront of Phuket’s dining scene.

Taking the top honour for the second year in a row is “hom”, led by Chef Ricardo Nunes. Known for its fermentation-inspired cuisine, “hom” crafts inventive dishes using ingredients sourced from around Phuket, creating a distinctive, nature-focused dining experience. Close behind in second place is “JAMPA”, a farm-to-fork concept where the menu changes daily, emphasising seasonal and local produce.

Third place goes to “L’Arôme by the Sea”, the island’s only French fine dining restaurant, where Chef Adrien Delcourt presents a modern approach to French cuisine against the scenic backdrop of the Andaman Sea. “The Smokaccia Laboratory”, ranking fourth, is led by Chef Luca Mascolo, who combines molecular gastronomy with fine dining artistry, while “PRU” at Trisara resort rounds out the top five with its award-winning modern Thai cuisine, known for its commitment to sustainability and farm-fresh ingredients.

British Airways (BA) has commenced a new direct service between London and Bangkok, operating three flights per week from 28 October 2024 until 26 April 2025. The inaugural flight, designated BA2231, departed London Gatwick at 9.15 pm local time and arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok on 29 October 2024, at 4.15 pm local time.
