Bangkok’s brunch scene is set to welcome a Mediterranean-inspired addition as VIU restaurant at The St. Regis unveils its reimagined Sunday Brunch. From 6 October 2024, the new Signature Sunday Brunch promises a relaxed, family-style dining experience, centred around Mediterranean flavours and designed to be enjoyed “At the Table.”
The meal begins with an indulgent seafood tower featuring French oysters, Alaskan king crab, and Boston lobster claws. Accompanying these are tempting bites such as Rougié Foie Gras Crostini and Octopus Salad “alla Mediterranea,” alongside artisanal Italian cold cuts and cheeses.
Guests can then tuck into freshly made pizzas – like the Parma Ham & Burrata and Quattro Formaggi – as well as Chef Matteo’s signature pastas, including Braised Duck Leg Confit Stuffed Ravioli and Fettuccine with Black Truffle. The main courses offer a Mediterranean feast, with Boston grilled lobster, BBQ pork ribs, Wagyu beef flank steak and short ribs, and Australian lamb rack, all cooked to order in an open kitchen. Alaskan cod fish and Thai-inspired dishes such as Wagyu-topped Boat Noodles enhance the international flair.
To complete the dining experience, unlimited sushi and sashimi selections sit alongside Thai favourites like grilled Ayutthaya river prawns. For dessert, enjoy freshly made Tiramisu prepared at your table, alongside a variety of sweet treats including French chocolate bonbons and freshly made crepes.

VIU’s Signature Sunday Brunch, with its emphasis on communal dining and vibrant Mediterranean flavours, is poised to become a new favourite for the weekend.
