Dusit International and VillaCarte Group team up to manage a luxurious hotel-apartment complex at Phuket’s Layan Verde Project, marking a strategic partnership in Thailand’s hospitality sector.
Dusit International, a prominent figure in Thailand’s hospitality and real estate realm, has recently forged a strategic alliance with VillaCarte Group, a respected Phuket-based development company with a diverse property portfolio encompassing villas, apartments, hotels, bars, and restaurants.
The collaboration aims to oversee the management of a sophisticated dual-branded luxury hotel and apartment complex situated at the heart of VillaCarte’s much-anticipated Layan Verde Project on Phuket’s western coast.
Spanning over 108,000 square metres and located just a stone’s throw away from Bang Tao Beach, where Dusit has operated the esteemed Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket resort for over three decades, Layan Verde boasts 15 thoughtfully designed mid-rise buildings crafted by architect Mohammed Adi of Dewan Architects + Engineers to harmonise with the natural surroundings.
The jewel in the crown of this development is the Dusit Collection – Layan Verde hotel, occupying five buildings and comprising 398 rooms. Marking the inaugural property under Dusit’s new luxury Dusit Collection brand, this venture is set to deliver a unique guest experience characterised by distinctive architecture, tasteful design, and unparalleled hospitality.
In addition to the hotel, Dusit will oversee another five buildings housing 388 rooms under the Dusit Residences – Layan Verde banner, extending its renowned five-star service to the residents of luxury condominiums and apartments.
Guests and residents can anticipate a host of premium amenities, including an all-day dining restaurant, fitness centre, swimming pool, kids club, rooftop bar, and expansive banqueting facilities, all infused with Dusit’s signature Thai-inspired hospitality.
Scheduled for completion in 2027, the project, reflecting VillaCarte Group’s commitment to sustainable development and Dusit’s ethos of making a positive impact, embraces Biophilic Architecture principles, prioritising energy efficiency, sustainability, and environmental conservation.
Interior spaces will feature eco-friendly, moisture-resistant materials complemented by high-quality furnishings, while advanced EDGE-certified technology is poised to reduce water and electricity consumption by up to 45%.
