The Thailand Tourism Festival 2024, presented by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), offers an enchanting array of activities across nine captivating zones.

From March 28 to April 1, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center will buzz with excitement, drawing travel enthusiasts and aficionados of Thai culture to a vibrant celebration of tourism promotion, cultural showcases, and gastronomic delights. The travel fair aims to propel Thailand’s tourism forward through this five-day spectacle, attracting industry professionals, including tour operators, hotels, and local tourism organizations.

Expert speakers will delve into pivotal topics such as travel trends, technology, marketing, sales strategy, and sustainable tourism. Thailand Tourism 2024 will unfold through nine thematic villages, each spotlighting premier travel destinations and activities in the country.

From the “Temple Fair” theme in the Central Region Village to the Lanna traditional New Year celebrations in the Northern Region Village, visitors will immerse themselves in diverse cultural experiences.

The highlight also includes a daily spectacular procession, bringing the local spirits and festivities to the exhibition hall.

Lampang’s Salung Luang Klong Yai Procession will commence, resonating with thunderous drumbeats of jubilation as graceful yet spirited dance routines suggest the traditional Lanna New Year is about to begin. Salung Luang Klong Yai Procession will take center stage on March 28 (4pm-4.30pm) and April 1 (6.15pm-6.45pm).

Poy Sang Long, the colorful and elaborate traditional Tai ordination parade from Mae Hong, will bring the spirit and tradition of Thailand’s north to the exhibition hall on March 29 (4pm-4.30pm) and March 31 (4pm-4.30pm).

On Saturday, March 30, from 4pm to 4.30pm, Yi Peng Procession from Chiang Mai will light up the exhibition hall as much as inspire wanderlust with a breathtaking spectacle of light and color.
