This new route serves as a crucial link for tourism between Laos and Thailand, catering particularly to Laotian tourists from both central and southern regions eager to explore Thailand’s attractions.

Flight QV202 departs Savannakhet at 10:40, arriving at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 12:10. The returning flight, QV203, departs Suvarnabhumi Airport at 13:10 and arrives in Savannakhet at 14:40. The service operates with turboprop-powered ATR72 aircraft, providing a comfortable and convenient travel option for passengers.

In 2023, 919,401 Laotian visitors travelled to Thailand, marking an 88.71% increase from 2022. The top destinations included Nong Khai Province, Bangkok, Chonburi, and Khon Kaen.
